Christ is the reason for this Holiday Season
In the delightful story Santa Quits Christmas, we learn a powerful lesson about the true meaning of Christmas. As children, much of the focus is about the gifts that we receive. Little by little as we grow older, we may begin to think of others and we start learning how to give good gifts to others.
The real meaning of giving is that God gave His son that we might all receive His greatest gift--The Gift of Eternal Life.
When we feel the love of our Heavenly Father and His son Jesus Christ, we can begin to love all of His children and we can feel inspired to want to give more to those in need. Christmas giving can become a something that we can do all year long. You can feel the joy of Christmas giving 365 days a year.

Twas' the Night Before Christmas..
Our story starts out with Santa becoming a little frustrated. It seems that many of the little children are being naughty and very few are being nice.
Santa is fed up with the "children of greed"
Santa is getting letters from naughty boys and girls demanding gifts and toys from him. These children are spoiled, selfish, and rotten--and the true spirit of Christmas giving has been forgotten.
"These spoiled children will get nothing from me," Santa exclaims. He decides that he will play a little trick. "I'll call in sick."
Santa decides to call it quits. He has had enough.
The more letters that he receives, the more upset he gets. Finally he decides that he has had enough and he is going to quit.
Then Santa receives a special letter which causes him to have a mighty change of heart.
Emily shares her story about losing her little brother and how she came to understand the true meaning of the Christ child. The letter softens his heart and Santa soon repents of his decision to quit being Santa Claus.
